Finally, a more descriptive blog title! This was previously known as 'SimplyMe: Simple from Head to Toe' when I first set it up last January 19, 2008 with a Getting Started post.
Why pink? Well, it is not my favorite color but I am a Certified Pink Lover!
Where's magic? I am referring to Magic: The Gathering TCG. I had a very memorable booster pack experience which got me hooked to this one resulting to my very First Deck.
Why Pinkville? *Shrug* IDK. It's the first word that came into my mind after organizing a successful surprise party codenamed: Pinkville.

♥ MTG Reminders V.2♥
1. Always observe your foe's reaction, especially where his eyes are going so you know what he's looking and if he's calculating and or if he has any answer/solution against your board.
2. Make sure to look at your hand more than twice whenever an opponent takes an action, or goes into one of his phases or before he begins one or ends one and before he has the spell resolved.
3. Keep on pressuring the opponent. Be aggressive. Don't play defensively.
4. Always read what a card does and don't hesitate to call a judge to ask for help or if you have further questions.
5. When you see a new card on the field which appears to do nothing, destory it. It means trouble.
6. For Boros, expect a baneslayer sideboard. Against Jund, Jund charm and or pyroclasm. gain as much life as you can. as for control, you need not ask anymore, you know what to do. Just attack aggressively and hope that you can kill him beore he sets up. Expect Rhox Warmonk's on the board but it's usually a sideboard against RED but be prepared just in case. Dont' expect much from Vampire. You know how to handle one. You know how their steps go so you should find it easy to fight against one.
7. Count your cards, your SBs and ALWAYS remember which cards you're removing and what not.
8. Review how protection from works and other game technicalities.
9. Enjoy and learn from each game and think in long terms.
Result: 2-2
1. JUND: 2-1 WIN
2. JUND: 1-2 LOSS
3. RW Control: 2-1 WIN
4. Turbo Mill: 0-2 LOSS

♥ MTG Reminders V.1♥
Here's the first set of his reminders before my FNM right after Zendikar's PR. Yeah, I already knew the basics...
1. Check your opponent's behavior, especially when he's drawing a card and looking at the field. Observe where he's eyes lay so you'll know if he has an answer to your cards or just bluffing.
2. 1 card most of the time means LAND.
3. Always look at what you have in your hand before making any decisions and before you allow a certain card to be put into play, into the graveyard, before damage resolution step, and AFTER damage resolution step and before declaring blockers, after declaring blockers, while spell is on the stack, and the like.
4. Be mindful of the the timing of your cards. Remember that a card will only benefit from a card in play is when it has entered the battlefield.
5. Be wary of your mulligan. Make sure it's 123 more often than not and don't play with creatures you can't cast during the 1st and 2nd turn. Do not be stubborn.
6. Jund usually sideboards 2 thought hemo, 4 pyroclasm/jund charm or any set of mass removal. Be wary of day of judgement if you see a player playing plains for 2 consecutive turns and he's not playing a creature. against Naya/Jund, you'll be sure that you'll have a problem against baneslayer and reliquary and it's better to kill a baneslayer and reliquary ASAP
7. When in doubt about what's happening in the battlefield, call a judge.
8. The meta would be Jund, Vampire, Naya/Bant or Naya/Jund. Be wary of seaside citadel. It means there's a rhox warmonk. Make sure it doesn't deal damage to prevent opponent from gaining life. Be careful of a 3rd turn gatekeeper of malakir. Choose which creature you'll play as a sacrifice. Be wary of the bloodcghast landfall. Learn when to use your lightcaster for maximum effect, especially brave the elements. It's a mirrorweave. It just doesn't look like it but it is one.

♥ What's Brewing?♥
As I fool around with our puppies downstairs, I suddenly miss Mogs and Wogs and our hamsters. Of course they're properly secured at my boyfriend's place but I wish to play with THEM... right now.
I'm getting tired with movie marathon, getting bored with TV shows and having headaches from my rewriting tasks. I wish I can puff a cigarette, or drink beer... right now.
I am not that lonely. I just have few sentiments from the past week.
I was not given a chance to be interviewed for the Senior Coordinator (SC) position. To make the matter worse, I was completely clueless about the selection process. What upset me more is that I did not receive any notification. Words just reached me through a friend who applied on the same post and unfortunately shared the same fate with me. Yes, I'm happy with my job, but I also want career growth... If not right now, sure, I am willing to wait.
Other petty stuff includes lethargic moments at work, insufficient time for magic and the like which all bring me back to the major frustration stated above. As for relationship, well, I believe it's getting stronger each day. More challenges keep us in ecstatic love!
And with regard to my wishlist on my previous post, I have this feeling (in the tune of "I Got A Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas) that I'm just a step away! Hahaha. I'll be turning those dreams into reality. LOL. Exaggeration intended for this Walletslayer. Gonna buy 3pcs of Baneslayer Angel for P5200. My only fear is that, the seller's schedule is conflicting with mine. As in a hell lot! So goodluck, and if in case he finds a better deal, I won't be surprised if he'll back out. Hehe.
On the brighter side, I also found an offer of 1BSA for 1500. But considering my time and effort, it will definitely turn out to be as pricey as others, too. Anyway, enough of MTG stuff coz my mom will surely kill me if she finds out that I am overspending again! Haha.
That would be it for today. I have to jot down notes and draft keypoints for my next Girl Talk article: OFFICE ROMANCE! Whew... I love it! Hot ideas keep sizzling on my mind!

Oh, the last one? I hate it! Haha. What the hell is that? Jund Control?! LANDISCARDER = Landy + Discarder! Do you know how it feels like being DURESSed, followed by MINDROT, BLIGHTNING, MOLD SHAMBLER all in one game. Sorry, I am not good with MTG articles, I can't provide a detailed report. Haha. Just venting out. :(
What a bully opponent! Kidding. ^_^
